Corfu, Haim

(1921- )
   Born in Jerusalem, he studied law at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem and served on the Jerusalem city council. In the seventh and eighth Knesset, as a member of the Herut, he sat on the Finance Committee, and in the ninth Knesset, he was a member of both the Defense and Foreign Affairs Committee and the House Committee, as well as Herut coalition chairman. On 5 August 1981, he was sworn in as minister of transport and served in that position in the Government of National Unity.
